A Quick Update ....

This is a quick update after a week of silence.... The last  5 days have been crazy for us. We travelled to our little boy's region. We got to meet him! (The day after his 5th birthday!). Daniel an Lucia were extremely happy during that first meeting. We received information about our boy from one of the doctors of the  Orphanages in the office of the Administrator of the Orphanage. Towards the end of that meeting they brought into the office our little boy, so we could meet him.Lucia and Daniel gave him a gift (big truck) as b-day gift. After 30 seconds they were playing on the floor of the office! Speaking English and Russian. It was funny! They really didn't need to speak the same language, they knew the universal language of "wanting to play together!"
I have pics of our first meeting and more! , but, I can not post pictures of our little one until after court day , when he will be legally ours. So , I will post lots of good pictures as soon as I am allowed to do do it.
For now, I am posting here few pics where you can see only the back of our little boy. He is playing with his brother Daniel and sister Lucia , and in the other pic he is on papa's lap , playing facing down.

We made it to our child's country!!!!

We are here!!!!We arrived today, Sunday 10/20/2013 at  4:30pm , from Munich. Niko was waiting for us at the airport. With his gentleness and kind spirit as always. He looks good!, younger than 3 years ago!. we brought CDs for him of his favorite Spanish music ( very romantic from the 70s and 80s) and he drove us to the apartment singing the songs out loud , very happy!!,It was nice to see how much he enjoyed that music!! We hand delivered to him some documents from USA of other adoltive families in process right now. The trip was great. The kids doing great as well!!, they were asking Niko for "dessert and ice cream" because they were "hungry of that".....so uncle Niko ("Tio Niko")took us first to get groceries with ice cream  and dessert (first in list!)

We feel very blessed with all the angels God keeps placing in our path to our son...

Almost There.......

We are leaving Fort Myers tomorrow morning. We must be in our child's country on Monday 10/21/13 for our appointment to formally receive his referral.
Since I will not be working, I will be able to update this blog 2 or 3 times a week after tomorrow.
We told our kids this weekend the news that they will go with us in this trip. They were extremely happy. Lucia jumped screaming "yay", "yay", "yay". Daniel gave me a long hug and said " mommy I can't wait to meet my brother", "mommy, my heart is sooo happy that it feels like it is going to explode in my chest!", "can that happen mommy?"....I had to reassured to him that his heart will not undergo any type of physical damage or "explosion" or mummy's heart would've  explode 5 times already, one for each of my kids!!!!, he was happy to hear that!! Ha!

We are coming for you little one.........
